Established on October 3, 1981. we began as a small unisex salon consisting of only three chairs on the second floor of 30-02 Steinway Street.

By 1987 Saloon expanded to a ground level store with ten chairs located at the Astoria Movie Theater on 30th Avenue and Steinway Street.

In 1993, Saloon moved to its present location of 36-17 30th Avenue with twelve stations, and established itself as Saloon Hair Color Specialists.

We are presently considering many 'colorful possibilities' for the future direction of Saloon. We would like to thank our staff, clients and the Astoria community for their support.
